Cancellations & Refunds
Moving Minds Hypnotherapy(MMH) often books out 3-4 weeks in advance and therefore has a strict 48 hour cancellation policy.
When a booking has been made, the time allocation has been reserved specifically for you. If this appointment is cancelled at the last minute or the client doesn’t show up, it prevents us from booking someone into that time from our waiting list. This affects not only the daily operations of MMH but also other people in the community who are ready to make a change and may have gladly taken the appointment.
In the event of a no-show, or if the client has failed to cancel or reschedule with a minimum of 48 hours notice, the session will be forfeited. If you wish to continue the program, a replacement session may be required at an additional cost.
Program commitment
All MMH programs are sold as a complete program, not individual sessions. Your payment secures your place in the full program process, and reflects your commitment to that complete program, not to a set number of appointments. Where the program investment is made as a split payment, this is offered for your convenience only — you remain liable for the full program investment regardless of how many sessions you attend, and any amount already paid is non-refundable if you discontinue early.
Hypnotherapy, like psychology or counselling, falls under the banner of psychotherapy. It is illegal under Australian law to provide a guarantee of a therapeutic outcome.
MMH commits to adhering to all ongoing education and supervisory requirements set out by the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA), and to do their absolute best, within their experience and expertise, to achieve your desired result.
If a client engages in or completes a session with a Hypnotherapist, refunds are not possible irrespective of the outcome of the session.
